FAQs

What is myonlinerep?

myonlinerep is a unique tool that scores your online reputation. We collect a wide range of data about your online life and produce an easy to understand score so you know what all that information means and how you appear to the world. And we provide alerts and updates whenever there is a change to your online reputation.

How does myonlinerep work?

You share a little bit of information about yourself with us and our engine then goes to work pulling together relevant data available about you online. We go way beyond the first page of search results to make sure we get a complete picture of your online life. Then our unique algorithm reviews the available data and produces an easy to understand score so you know what all that information means. Our proprietary online reputation score considers factors such as consistency, intensity and frequency.

In addition to the score you will receive an explanation of what your score means. This provides you with insight into the factors having the greatest impact on your score. We will also share some information on what you can do to improve your online reputation.

What information are you collecting? Is this invading my privacy?

myonlinerep only collects information that is publicly available about you online. We only access what anyone else can find about you if they know how to search for it. We do not collect any data that you can’t find on your own. We simply take what is available, make you aware of it and then tell you what it means by applying our unique myonlinerep score. You can learn more by reviewing our privacy policy.

What happens to my data?

We will store some data to help us further develop and refine our algorithms and scores. However, all of the data we collect about you is already available online for people to see if they know how to search for it.
